From time-to-time, another group claims to offer OptiGen tests without permission or appropriate licensing. Australia/New Zealand/ Japan and several Asia Pacific countries:
Genetic Science Services (www.gtg.com.au) is licensed by OptiGen to be the exclusive provider of prcd-PRA tests and the CEA tests (among other tests) in these regions. In a corollary agreement with GTG, OptiGen agreed to not accept any samples from this territory for any of the tests it offered as of May 2006.

Europe :
No license has been issued to any European company for OptiGen® exclusive tests, in particular the prcd-PRA tests and the CEA tests for all relevant breeds.

Two companies in Europe are approved to act as OptiGen’s agents by receiving blood samples, extracting DNA, and shipping the DNA to OptiGen for testing in the OptiGen labs. These companies are VHL in The Netherlands (www.vhlgenetics.com) and Antagene in France (www.antagene.com).

United States and Canada :
No license has been issued to any other company for the OptiGen® exclusive tests and no other company serves as agent for sample shipments. Access to testing directly through OptiGen is easiest done online at this website.

All other locations:
There are no other distributor or agent relationships at present. OptiGen works directly with breeders worldwide to assist with sample shipments and testing.

Дисплазия
 

Подскажите, пожалуйста. Начиная с какого возраста в России нужно делать анализ на дисплазию тазобедренных суставов большому пуделю, чтобы результаты были действительными?

Неужели никто не знает ответ на вопрос Лёлика?.....

Тут какая-то странная система, словами не называют (ну там, экселент, нормал, гуд и т.д) и букву не присваивают, а оценивают каждый сустав в баллах по девяти пунктам, затем итоговый балл по каждому суставу, ниже написан общий балл.
Далее, прилагается вот такая таблица, в которой опять таки нужно смотреть каждый сустав отдельно:

В таблице по цветам и процентам расписана градация (если дословно переводить на русский) : голубой цвет и серый цвета - нет дисплазии, гарантированно на столько-то процентов, красный - признаки дисплазии на столько-то процентов.
Что именно нам впишут в родословную (я буду отправлять её для этого на след. неделе) - не знаю, но, как я поняла, результат теста хороший :)

Lelik, в кинологической организации ЛЮБОЙ страны снимок и диагноз на его основе будут считаться действительными только если сделаны в возрасте, когда собака закончила свое развитие. А это у разных групп пород по-разному. И у пуделей разных разновидностей тоже.
Иногда приходится делать собаке рентген суставов и в 4, и в 6, и в 9 месяцев. По медицинским показаниям. Если есть признаки аномалий в развитии какого-либо сустава или костной системы в целом.
Но диагноз который нужен для допуска в разведение (у многих пород есть такое правило) ставится гораздо позже.
