Кстати, если верить новостям, Викки заканчивает свою карьеру и отправляется жить в Японию: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/2008-...dog-show_N.htm

Farewell, Vikki:

Vikki, the all-time winningest toy poodle, is headed on a plane to Japan to begin retirement with her breeders.

Which is why Tuesday was difficult for her handler, Kaz Hosaka, who has lived with Vikki and spent almost every minute with her for the last 2½ years in Greenwood, Del. It will be so emotional that Hosaka said he can't drive her to the airport. Vikki was scheduled to leave Wednesday."The sad thing is she doesn't even know she's leaving," Hosaka said.

"I will miss her, and she will miss me," Hosaka said as he snipped Vikki's pompons shortly before toy group judging began on Tuesday night. "And she will miss dog shows." (Vikki, officially known as Ch. Smash JP Win A Victory, has 108 Best in Show wins.)

Vikki, who's almost 4, will be spoiled during her final hours with Hosaka. She will snack on plenty of Special K cereal, her favorite food. "All day she munches on Special K," the handler said of his 7-pound chow hound. "She's a pig."

When the green carpet is rolled up and all the dogs have left Madison Square Garden, Vikki will get one final treat. Said Hosaka: "She can sleep in our bed tonight." As any retiring champion should.
Реми тоже отправляется на пенсию, после того, как выиграет еще одно Best-In-Show, для ровного счета (60):

Down to earth:

Remy, the standard poodle who won the non-sporting group, isn't your typical poodle diva. "She's a tomboy," said her handler, Chris Manelopoulos. Though she's happy in the show ring, she's just as comfortable playing with her tennis ball or swimming in the ocean.

The No. 3-ranked dog in the country, officially known as Ch. Brighton Minimoto, entered Tuesday night's competition with retirement dreams. Remy, who's 3½, will leave the ring after one more Best in Show win, which would give her 60 for her career.

Then she will move from her home in Greensboro, N.C., where she lives with her handlers, and head to Atlantic Beach, Fla., with two of her owners.

Named after the cognac, Remy Martin, she duplicated her father Miki when she won Best of Group at Westminster for the second time on Monday night. Her grandfather, Treson, won three times.

"What sets her apart is her attitude and temperament," Manelopoulos said. "Some models are beautiful, but then there are supermodels."

However, Remy is a down-to-earth supermodel. On Tuesday afternoon, Remy did not retire to her crate like other dogs competing for Best in Show. Instead, she spread out in her benched area in Madison Square Garden with her perfectly styled paws hanging over the edge, happily posing for photos with her fans.
