SIZE:
Standard Poodles: Over 45cm up to 60cm with a tolerance of +2cm. The Standard Poodle must be the enlarged and developed replica of the Medium Poodle of which it retains the same characteristics.

Medium Poodles: Over 35 cm up to 45cm.

Miniature Poodles: Over 28cm up to 35cm. The Miniature Poodle must display the apprearance of a reduced Medium Poodle, retaining as much as possible the same proportions and without presenting any sign of dwarfism.


Toy Poodles: Over 24 cm up to 28 cm (sought after ideal: 25cm) (with a tolerance of -1cm). The Toy Poodle maintains, in its ensemble, the aspect of a Miniature Poodle and the same general proportions complying with all the points of the standard. Any sign of dwarfism is excluded; only the occipital protuberance may be less pronounced.

• Grands Caniches : Au-dessus de 45 cm et jusqu'à 60 cm avec une tolérance de 2 cm en plus. Le grand caniche doit être la reproduction agrandie et développée du caniche moyen dont il garde les mêmes caractéristiques.
• Caniches moyens : Au-dessus de 35 cm et jusqu'à 45 cm.

• Caniches nains : Au-dessus de 28 cm et jusqu'à 35 cm. Le caniche nain doit offrir dans son ensemble l’aspect d’un caniche moyen réduit, en conservant autant que possible les mêmes proportions et en ne présentant aucun signe de «nanisme».
• Caniches toys : Au-dessus de 24 cm et jusqu’à 28 cm (idéal recherché : la taille de 25 cm) et jusqu’à 24 cm (tolérance de moins 1 cm). Le caniche toy conserve, dans son ensemble, l’aspect du caniche nain et les mêmes proportions générales répondant à toutes les exigences du standard. Tout signe de «nanisme» est exclu, seule la crête occipitale peut être un peu moins accusée.
