This group is a place for those with parti-colored (bi-colored, parti, harlequin, or pie-bald) poodles to show off and talk about their babies. Also brindle, sable, and phantoms invited too!
I thought it would be fun to start a group just for us to show off and compare our beautifully colored poodles. Also to provide a resource for those looking for breeders or any information regarding these beautiful poodles.
I thoroughly enjoy looking at pictures and the markings of other parti-poodles. Each has their very own unique pattern!
The pie-bald or "parti"-colored standard poodle, (parti is short for 'partial') is the original or "old style" of poodle. Before they started breeding for solid colors over a century ago, it is believed that most if not all all poodles came in this color type, as well as the stockier, heavier-boned body shape, with wider heads and shorter, wider muzzles than commonly seen today. Only in recent years have some breeders started bringing back this wonderful color variation.
Poodles of any size invited; also poodles of other multi-colored types invited such as brindle, sable, and phantom. Come and show off your unique poodles!
